What is Skinvive?

Skinvive is a new, unique injectable hyaluronic acid gel. Skinvive vs. Filler

While both Skinvive and traditional fillers are made of a hyaluronic acid gel, Skinvive is intended for an entirely different purpose. Unlike fillers, which are used to add volume and contour to various areas of the face, Skinvive is designed specifically to add hydration to the cheek area through small injections of this form of hyaluronic acid. The added hydration has been shown to improve overall skin quality and smoothness. This is something that most traditional fillers do not address.

Skinvive Results

In most cases, results of Skinvive can be seen within the first few weeks after treatment and can last for about 6-9 months without additional treatments.

In clinical trials, 91% of patients were more satisfied with their skin, 96% had smoother cheeks after treatment and after 6 months, patients still saw improvement after the initial treatment.

While 38% of study participants were happy with their facial skin healthiness before being treated, that number rose to 83% after treatment. Similarly, 24% of study participants were satisfied with their facial skin hydration before treatment, while 72% reported post-treatment satisfaction. Lastly, only 16% of participants were satisfied with their facial skin refreshedness before treatment, but 69% achieved satisfaction in this metric after treatment.

Skinvive Cost

The cost of Skinvive treatments are currently not disclosed, as the product has not hit the US market yet. While it is up to the individual practice to set pricing, we can speculate that the product will be priced similarly to other Juvéderm injectable hyaluronic acid products. These products typically cost about $600-1,000 per syringe. It is not yet confirmed, but it is likely that Skinvive will require just one syringe per treatment, since it is an intradermal microdroplet injection for the cheek area only.
