Botox and Xeomin are injectable products designed to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines. We also offer Daxxify, a new long-lasting anti-wrinkle injection. These products reduce the movement of muscles in the upper face, thereby reducing creases that form from repetitive expressions such as frowning, smiling, squinting, or making a surprised face.
Quick treatment yields quick results.
A treatment with Botox, Xeomin, or Daxxify takes about 10-15 minutes. First, your injector will speak with you for a few minutes regarding your goals. Once a treatment plan is agreed upon, your injector will perform the treatment. Each individual varies slightly, but results typically appear within 2 weeks of treatment and can last about 3-5 months, depending on the patient and dose.

Botox Treatment Areas
Frown Lines
Botox and Xeomin are FDA-approved for treatment of frown lines, also known as glabellar lines, 11 lines or 11’s. These lines develop between the eyebrows as a result of facial expressions that involve furrowing your brows. By gently relaxing the muscles in the area, a Botox or Xeomin treatment can minimize or eliminate these lines.
Forehead Lines
Botox and Xeomin are ideal for minimizing the appearance of lines on the forehead. These dynamic wrinkles typically form as a result of repeated raising of the eyebrows, which is a component of many facial expressions. As the skin ages, these lines become etched. A Botox or Xeomin treatment will relax the muscles that cause this movement, thus allowing the lines to fade away.
Crow’s Feet
Two of the most effective options for treatment of crow’s feet are Botox and Xeomin. Similar to frown lines and forehead lines, these are dynamic wrinkles that form due to squinting and smiling expressions. By gently relaxing the muscles around the crow’s feet area, a Botox or Xeomin treatment will help reduce the appearance of these lines.
Brow Lift

Under Eye
Botox and Xeomin can also help minimize fine lines under the eye, particularly those which are more noticeable when smiling or squinting. Also known as “jelly roll” Botox, this treatment goes hand-in-hand with a crow’s feet treatment. Tiny droplets of Botox or Xeomin are injected under the eye to help reduce under-eye wrinkles caused by muscular activity.
Chin Dimples
Although it is less common than the above treatment areas, many people choose to improve the appearance of chin dimpling with Botox or Xeomin. A small amount of product is injected into the chin area to relax the muscles responsible for the dimple effect.
Neck Lines
Small droplets of Botox or Xeomin can be superficially injected into the horizontal lines of the neck. While we typically recommend a combination of treatments for best results on the neck, a Botox or Xeomin treatment can help soften these neck lines.
Neck Platysmal Bands
Platysmal bands are the vertical bands of muscle that run from underneath the jawline to the bottom of the neck. These bands are more prominent in certain individuals and tend to become more visible with age. A treatment of Botox or Xeomin on the platysmal bands can help relax the muscle, reducing their appearance.
Masseters
Masseter Botox or Xeomin has become a popular option for facial slimming in recent years. By injecting the masseter muscles, which are the muscles in the jawline area, the visible size of the muscle will be gently reduced. This helps provide a slimmer, more sculpted appearance to the face.
TMJ
TMJ Botox is a treatment in which Botox or Xeomin is injected into the masseters to reduce tension in the muscles. Those who suffer from issues such as TMJ and teeth grinding may opt to have Botox injected for thereputic benefit. The treatment relaxes the muscles, which helps reduce common symptoms.

Which product is best for me?
Botox, Xeomin, and Daxxify are similar injectable products designed to minimize the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles. There are small differences in the molecules in each of the products. Your injector will recommend the best product for your needs.
How long does it take for results to develop?
While the onsets of Botox and Xeomin vary slightly, you can expect the full results to develop within 1-2 weeks of treatment. Daxxify tends to have a quicker onset, with some individuals seeing results within a few days, but it’s best to still allow up to 2 weeks for settling.
How long do the results last?
The duration of results can vary based on the dose and the individual. On average, the results of Botox and Xeomin typically last about 4 months, while Daxxify can often last up to 6 months.
Is there any downtime?
Tox treatments have no downtime. The treatment takes 15 minutes or less, and you can return to most normal activities immediately. We recommend that you do not lay down or look downward for 4 hours after treatment. Refrain from exercise and sweating until the next day.
