Treatments for Lines & Wrinkles

What causes lines and wrinkles?
Lines and wrinkles are caused by a variety of age-related factors, including loss of collagen and elastin, dry skin, thinning skin, and oxidative damage. Lines and wrinkles can vary significantly, from fine lines to moderate wrinkles to deep folds. Finer lines are often caused by movement of muscles, particularly in the upper face, while deep folds are generally a product of volume loss, or loss of facial fat. Collagen is a protein that is critical to the structure of the skin, and elastin is a protein that helps the skin return to its natural position after being stretched. Elastin levels begin to decrease at around age 18, and collagen levels begin to decline at around age 25.
How can lines and wrinkles be treated?
The most effective solutions vary based on the types of lines and wrinkles, but are typically multi-treatment protocols in which collagen and elastin are stimulated, skin is tightened and resurfaced, and volume is restored. Our expert team treats lines and wrinkles with great outcomes using effective combinations of energy-based devices, injectable products, and medical-grade skincare.
It is critical to take a methodical and scientific approach to treating lines and wrinkles, rather than experimenting with treatments that are trending or popular. Some treatments or products that work well for one individual may not work for another individual due to their skin characteristics. Because of this, our treatment and product choices are personalized based on the type and cause of your lines and/or wrinkles, and we will create a thorough treatment plan at your first visit based on our 90+ years of aesthetic experience.

Botox, Xeomin & Daxxify
Commonly known as wrinkle relaxers or neuromodulators, Botox, Xeomin, and Daxxify are injectable products used to improve the appearance of dynamic wrinkles such as forehead lines and wrinkles, frown lines, and crow’s feet. By temporarily reducing the movement of muscles in the upper face, the associated lines and wrinkles fade. Your aesthetic injector will advise as to which product is ideal for you.
Cosmetic Fillers
A quick treatment that yields immediate results, cosmetic fillers are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and folds and restore lost volume. Hyaluronic acid-based filler is carefully injected into the skin to hide wrinkles and smooth out folds. Fillers are commonly used to improve smile lines, marionette lines, under-eye concerns, and other facial features.
Laser Resurfacing
A proven treatment with powerful results, laser resurfacing reveals brand new, healthy skin. Laser energy is directed into the skin using one of our advanced laser technologies, carefully selected by our team based on your skin, lifestyle, and goals. The laser targets skin cells, triggering the formation of a fresh layer of skin with reduced hyperpigmentation.
RF Microneedling
A powerful and versatile treatment, RF Microneedling is an effective treatment for improving skin texture, quality, and elasticity. Safe radio-frequency energy is delivered below the surface of the skin using gold-plated needles, stimulating the production of collagen, refining skin texture, and minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.
SkinPen Microneedling
A long-time favorite skincare treatment, Microneedling uses a pen-like device to create microchannels in the skin using a set of fine needles. These channels must be repaired by the body, so the treatment forces the production of new collagen within the epidermis and dermis. With each treatment, the skin heals smoother than before.
Medical-Grade & Prescription Skincare
A proper skincare regimen is important to maintain and enhance the results of treatments for lines and wrinkles. While many treatments go deeper into the skin, medical-grade skincare is your daily at-home treatment for the surface of your skin. Our aesthetic experts will determine what medical-grade skincare is appropriate for your customized regimen.
